Welcome to The Gauge! You're not from just down the road in Tweed, Ontario - I am guessing based on your name...

Anyway, lots of helpful people here, but you might want to provide some more details about what you have accomplished to date. There are loads of people just waiting to give advice on what to do next!

A hearty welcome to you Tweed. As Andrew said, a brief descripion as to the size and shape of your layout and how far you have got with it together with what type of terrain you are aiming for would help us.
If it all runs OK now then you are already ahead of the game :) :) .
If you can manage it, a picture of it would say a thousand words.
I'm sure you'll get heaps of tips and hints from the multitude of posts in this forum. If and when you hit a problem, remember you won't be the first one to have encountered it :) so you just ask in here for answers.
Enjoy your membership of this superb forum.

Hi Tweed.
Next step is to figure out why you're in Model Railroading.
Are you interested in running trains, building trains, riding trains, making nostalgic scenes from your childhood, catching up on things you missed because you're too young ...?
Look through the forum, especially the N scale section and the layout planning section. Don't ignore the HO and O scale sections; lots of ideas in both of them.
