You might want to check if your BEEP has some lube it those gears. There have been a few reports of none to very little lube in those hard to get at gears. In any event Walter Matuch has ordered that all BEEPS include a final check that lubrication is part of the final inspection process and will make sure it is continued. I find him one of the better guys in the train world. Just don't run them dry and if you have one of the unlucky ones your clock my be ticking. RMT is a pretty good company and I think they have a winner in those Beeps.
