all im going to say is i love batman!
Well, it definitely looks like you're getting there. Keep on Trekkin!:thumb:
ok with the exception of the winglets and boob things on the underbelly its about all done!
some of the new parts like the canopy and stuff still need to be simplified, but its startin to look great!
and of course I just couldnt resist doin this!
(however meager my photoshop skill are...)
WOW!! This has come a long way. Nice work Dan. I knew you'd do a "moon" shot.
Keep it up buddy.
verry impressive....as usual!!lol
Holey Moley Batman! What can we expect next?
I could post a moon shot too, but it wouldn't be very appropriate behavior for a moderator.
I know that I don't want to see that type of 'moon' shot. Sends shivers down my spine.
Models looking good Oyl.
I'm with Paul.
Outstanding work!! Can't wait to see what's next.
'Owdy all, I'll have a decent update for tomorrow. I didn't get a whole lot done on this beast while I was out last week (I know- backsliding already - LOL ) since the 'net was out and I couldnt update anyway my kid started hammering me about getting back to work on his 3' Optimus Prime so I did some work on that for a bit! but now I'm back into the Batwing (Prime is going to be his summer build) so its in no rush for now!
I finally got the 3dsOutput of my Acad working today and now I've been able to get my stuff straight from cad into pepakura, so thats a big breakthru for me. Till now I've been forced to go from cad to max to pep to get it to work right!
anyway, Ill have some new stuff to show tomorrow, I jsut wanted to let you know what I've been up to over the last week or so!
I can't wait to see more of this. I watched all 5 batman movies within the last week. And this has got to be the best 'goodie' that the bat has in his cave. Love it. Keep up the good work.
WHOOT! Can't wait!:thumb::mrgreen:
just wondering mate, will you be releasing the optimus prime build in the summer?
Great work. Thank you
Ill let have at it as soon as its done, but I'm tryin to stay focused on this for now
I'm doing a 3' version of the original optimus, he wants to make a posed version of "the Death of Optimus" from the original movie.
in order to fill it out though, im adding the details from the 20th ann. toy version. Just doing the cartoon version would look way too plain at 3'
the "guts" for his chest are going to match the old movie version though, not the toy.
all together I plan to release 3 different versions however.
1 is a posable robot
2 is a transformable robot
and the 3rd is the "deat of prime" version.
here is the latest on it, its the posable version
like I said though, its a side-project so I dont know how long it'll take to get done...wall1
Oylpslyk ... are you working for a company that sells paper and card?!?!
How about a staight cartoon version with a great pose?
I'm all for the 3' versions. Nice one Oyl'.
on that note what size are you doing your bumblebee?
LOL. Well the last time we discussed size, we decided on 60cm/2'. We're doing the new BumbleBee though, so he needs to be large or the smaller detail parts to be buildable. I say "we" but Claudio's doing most of the work here as he's doing the modelling just as he id the X-Jet ehile I'm texturing him.
I was actually getting the screen grabs from the 2 disc version lastnight for Claudio.
We also mentioned a poseable version.
Wow! I'm looking forward to all of these. you guys are really kicking tail in these and I can't even keep up with the builds. I guess I'm going to have to buy stock in a paper company. (pun intended)
