My wife went to visit her mom today and they got to see the Barnum & Bailey circus train rolling thru So. Plainfield, NJ. Since I couldn't be there (that "work" thing) I don't know which way it was going but I think I'll look 'em up on the web and see what their schedule looks like- maybe I can plot a way to see it?

Anyway, somewhere- the circus is coming to town.

On History International: Voyages this morning: the history of the circus train, including actual footage of elephants being unloaded. Fascinating stuff, and a startling look into life in the 1920's.
