I build a Pontiac Bonneville model by "Jo-Han", and anyone into plastic knows how detailed, how much work, because of the old molds, but the beauty of these models. I painted it Gold. The Hobby shop had the wrong kind of paint and it melted the body. I "made' him give me a model in compensation, I waited till no one was in the store. Now, try and find a "Jo-Han" model, you will never find an un-assembled kit at any Earthly price. The bottom, though one piece, was so detailed, painted properly, it popped to life. It looked a lot like the pic below, before it started to warp and wave out of existence .:realmad:

I think this one is an MPC, also great models:

Never has looking dirty looked so good! Wow!
It would have been all to easy to go overboard with the weathering process, it's like you put a little on, and think 'well a little more won't hurt'... next thing ya know, the whole thing is covered with grime...
