    It takes a while to load the first time -- I have no idea why.. :(

    Great job on the site.

    Brings back alot of memories. I walked or drove by that plant countless times.

    Yeah Tom - there's a whole story I wrote about why I did this - mostly to preserve history. It was entirely a Volunteer thing. But it was worth the year it took to do it.

    Who knows in 10 or 20 Years somebody may want some of these pics. :) :)

    I should have taken more pictures of it. I grew up with it there. I went to church and school across the street from it. My father and most of my family and their friends worked either there or at General Steel. I guess I kind of took it for granted that it was there and would be there. I took a couple of lousy pictures once I heard they were going to tear the place down.

    That's neat!! I grew up about 3 miles away - It was neat!!
