just a few pics of the partly cloudly sky in my basement.
Nice colors! The clouds are subtle and look very realistic. Great job.
I think you did a very Nice Job :thumb: :thumb:
WOW e-paw, can you tell me how you did such a wonderful job, as im almost to that point on my layout. Man, those look awesome!:thumb:
Great looking sky!!
I agree, please let us know how you did the clouds. Very nice work.:thumb:
Yeah, nice looking clouds and a nice, subtle colour for the sky, too.
That looks really nice. Well done indeed.
Wow! Those clouds look great! My compliments. And since my job entails flying through most of our nation's clouds on any given day...I can authoritively say those clouds look very real. (Maybe you could add a jet contrail way off in the distance...ok...just kidding.)
Nice work! :thumb: :thumb:
For those who would like a "how-to", take a look at Gavin Miller's technique in our very own Academy... very similar results.
I air brushed polly scale reefer white on to the wall, using stencels cut from heavy card stock. Then added shadows of earth, concrete, and csx tan (all from polly scale). Last I misted over the whole cloud a touch of white. The base color of the wall is flat Olympic Brand paint called
" skyward " that I purchased from Lowes.
have fun with it,
I may hang a ufo as a joke after I do the bench work.
Very nicely done!!!!!
Great job!:thumb:...........The clouds look so realistic and as others have said, the colors are just right!:thumb::thumb::thumb:

Love the choice of colours!!! The sky looks almost misty!
OK steve when will you post your layout progress photos.
Nice job! :thumb:
