I spend more time in the hopital than out it seems.

Anyone rember this from Monty Pithon or Emerson, Lake & Palmer's. LP Brain Salad Surgery?

And did those feet in ancient time
Walk upon England’s mountains green?
And was the Holy Lamb of God
On England’s pleasant pastures seen?
And did the countenance divine
Shine forth upon our clouded hills?
And was Jerusalem builded here
Among these dark satanic mills?
Bring me my bow of burning gold!
Bring me my arrows of desire!
Bring me my spear! O clouds, unfold!
Bring me my chariot of fire!
I will not cease from mental fight,
Nor shall my sword sleep in my hand,
Till we have built Jerusalem
In England’s green and pleasant land.

Jerusalem

I'm sorry to hear of your situation, Gil. I've been starring at your post for five minutes trying to think of something profound to say, but everything I could say seems trite. My prayers are with you and your family. I hope this is another false alarm, and that you have many more years to come.

I do remember EL&P's version of that old English hymn. Its stirring.
EL&P would make good freelanced railroad letters!

Sorry you're in and out of the hospital. I hope you are out more than in!
Best wishes!
Ralph

Yeah, it's hard to say anything but to tell you that we are pulling for you. Don't despair, and above all, don't give up hope. You have provided us all with a show of strength that gives everyone here the realization that they can battle their own problems. You've been a blessing to us all and now it's our turn to give you some of that strength back when you need it the most.

We wish you the best and you are in all of our prayers.

Hang in there Gil. I hope you make it through the tough times stronger as a result. Just try to keep your mind sharp, and your humor high, and hopefully the body will follow suit.

Sorry Gil - may God grant you His peace and love.

I remember this great song from Chariots of Fire.

My tastes run more to Vangelis than ELP these days !!!

(They gave a great concert at the U of Ga once upon a time, however!)
