Bachmann Trolley Help

Hi,

I have a couple of the bachmann On30 christmas village street cars and they are noisy.
I have pulled them apart and greased with labells #106 all of the gears but it still does it.

I deburred the slot where the axle crosses the frame. they seam to be ok on the bench but when I put them on the track with the body they make thier noise.

can I oil the motor bearings themselves?

any help would be great

Does this mean they are quiet until the body is re-installed ?? If so, some foam tape,(weatherstrip) applied in the right places to stop body vibration just might cure the problem.

I think the body may be amplifing the noise, but also the weight seams to have something to do with it.

Mine is pretty noisy too, "ghrrr...erreororeo...ghrrr...erreororeo..." But with the two O gauge and the On30 running you can't hear it anyway. I've taken it apart and lubed it, but it didn't help. It's just the nature of the beast I'm afraid.
