Bachmann Big Hauler Sound Doesn't work

I have a Bachmann G Scale Big Hauler that I put around the Christmas tree. When I set it up this year it worked. It didn't the second time I ran it. Does anyone know where to get the repair manual that would tell me how to open the Tender where the sound and wiring are so I can check the wiring to the sound chip?

Don't take it apart. Contact Bachmann. They guarrantee their locomotives for life. Send the locomotive back to them and they will repair it for the cost of shipping.

Did you check the battery in the tender? Also check the connection between the locomotive and the tender, the plug may have come loose. I can't recall right now if there is a switch by that connector, but if there is, make sure that it is turned on. One last thing to check would be to make sure that the volume isn't turned all the way down. Just a though, good luck!

Thank you! I noticed that too and that is What I will do! I tried the new battery.

There is a switch on the loco next to the plug and I checked that too!
