    Spaceagent,

That crew section is actually not too bad (after you do the first one - ha!) just remember to glue one side at a time up to where the crew section narrows. Use the narrow section as a "lock". Then glue and attach the rest of the crew section up to the top.

    Spaceagent,

I certainly understand about the busy part. I would have had the Defender done about 5 months ago if a little thing called work didn't get in the way. Also, recently I found a new video game called subnautica (you can buy it on steam and look at it on youtube). Recommend that you check it out.

Is this the model of the Icarus that you're talking about or the Icarus from B5?

Looking forward to the post either way.

You can shape LED's with a machinist file, as long as you don't expose the metal, and buff the flat , paint the sides black, which you don't want to shine, with black fingernail polish, and make the light shaped to do your will. This is super fantastic!! I had no idea you were so far along. :)

I forgot to post the pics I guess lol. I thought I had. maybe I did in my gallery. I don't think the antenna are big enough for that sanding tip tho, I might do that for other models, I was even thinking of just painting the sides of the fiber optics and melting the tips for light glow for this kit. the destroyer that doesn't have the rotating part might be what I end up with I like it just as much. strange tho, I don't like the shadow hybrids of this at all. but I do like the omega thunderbolt fighter best.

The Shadow ships are "grown", and are definitely different. ;)

Sweet. Black Nail Polish works great for LED's. You can make the light come out of only what isn't covered, and color them too, Red Right returning! :)
