    Hi all

Well here is the answer to Jim's question of whats next

I started with the wings and tail again, then on to the cockpit and wheels.
The design and graphics on this model are fantastic. The colours are so vivid it will stand out in any collection 8)
Nobi has out done himself again

    More tomorrow

    Hi Mike

I do cheat a bit, I start the next build as the final bits are going on the last build. I can't stand hanging around waiting for glue to dry

The designs are so good they go together easy, it helps when everything fits well.
Your not doing so bad, you whipped of the main body of the Ki-61 fast.
Glad your going to hit the builds as well, I look forward to seeing them.

    Hi all

A few more photos of the build so far.

So far the model has not had any fit problems at all :D
It very easy to build a great model to start on if your new to card models, it won't show up errors in construction like scale models do :D

The next job to do is to fit the cockpit and wheels, then on to finish the tail and canopy.
A few more hours work should see this great little design done.

So far its been a lot of fun doing this as its an odd bird for me to do!!

    More later I hope

    Hi, Rob! :D

I have to admit, I haven't really looked at these deformed plane kits, but your build is coming out great...it's a cute little fellow!

Seems to be going together really fast.

Looking forward to the next update...almost done, it seems. :D

    Cheers!

    Hi Nobi

Thanks for that, the sheild has only been pushed down behind the seat so that I don't loose it. Its just until I get the cockpit glued in and then I will turn it around, my big porky fingers would not fit inside with it glued on

    Jim

Iam not into these types of builds either, but this one looks good when done and my youngest has been on my back to have it for a while now
Its also a good model to get the kids building, all the bright colours ect.
Also the only formers the model has are for the wings and one in the nose for the spinner. It is a dam fine model and Iam very happy with the way its gone together, it shold stand up to a bit of battering from my lad

    More tomorrow

    Hey Rob,

It is looking great! I printed it off last night and started one myself. And I agree about kids, they really liked Nobi's Baby MiGs and I can't wait to hear the coments on this one when I get it finished.

I love being able to build it gear up for them to play with. Great kit, Great design!

    Thanks Nobi!!

Thanks Rob for featuring this kit to build. I really have learn alot from your building threads! :D

And Nobi, I'm waiting on pics from my co-worker showing her kids playing with your planes! They really love them! :D

    Hi all

One more post to go and done, penultimate is a to posher word for me

Just a few bits to go and she is finished.
I have glued in the cockpit and fitted two of theprops and fitted the wheels.
Also I have glued the first of the three cockpit sections together.

    Bowdenja

As you say the kids do love these things, a few of Nobi's designs have been tested to destruction. Nobi's Yak was so good my eldest lad used it for a school project about flight. He added weights and various materials to the plane to test what effect they would have, drag ect.

    Well here are the photos

    Hi all

Well I did not get it done last night, my youngest thought it would be a good time for the "I feel sick" stunt

Here's what I did get done.
I will post the finished photos later

    Hi all

I finished it at last :D

The end to another great little design by Nobi.
Every bit went together without a problem and I at least think it looks good.

Here are the finished photos with the last one being my little test pilot that wanted the model. Got a photo of him whipping it of the computor desk

Had a lot of fun with this and I will build this again for my bigger test pilot to play with

    Regards

    Rob

    It really looks great.
I just hope that it is rigid enough to survive a few days of those flight tests :D

    Hi Mike

The look on his face is the I've been caught look. He thought he had got away with taking it without me seeing him
It will loose bits but they will glue back on OK, thats one reason why card models beat plastic every time

If he ever lets me get near it again I will take another photo after a few days of test flights and we shall see
