Looks awesome Wayne!! I also like the corners, I think I'll replace mine.....hopefully I won't make a mess in the process.

    Regards,

    Side 1 Decks

    Hi to All:mrgreen:

Sorry for the lack of Updates!!!!!(Car Problems:curse:)
(Photo 1) All Water Supressors are now fitted along with the Blast deck access door.I am going to wait to fit the Tail service masts until I have made STS117 so as to get a perfect fit.
(Photo 2)Added the R/H Side Lower deck and Middle deck.Railings are not to hard to cut out at 1/96,not that many to do for the MLP,but the Crawler Transporter is another story(Lots of Railings)wall1.
(Photo 3&4) I have designed and fitted some vertical corner ladders that meet up with the MLP Supports once on the pad.

Next Up: More Side 1 Decking

    Hi Uglyguy9,

SIR Alfonso has designed a superb MLP (just like all his designs!!!)
If you are building his 1/144 MLP then you will have no problems with your build.
As I have enlarged to 1/96 it is taking me a bit longer to complete as I have to match and join parts that have not fitted on to A4 (UK size)cardstock.
My only problem was matching up the main deck which took me two attemptswall1
I have been building my MLP for about 4 weeks now,but I do not work on it everyday:eek:
    Hope this answers your question??

    Side 1 Finished

    Hi to All:wave:

Well, It has taken me a week but Finally Side 1 Roof and Decking is Finished!!

I am now on my own,This is where SIR Alfonso's Design ends,I have now got to design the SRB piping and Top Deck Railings.
The railings should not be to hard.I can use Alfonso's design of the Side 1 rails and just extend them!!

    Next Up: SRB Piping

    SRB Piping

    Hi to All:wave:
    Quick update!!
As you can see from the photo this is one possibility I am thinking of??
Using 6mm artstraws and 6mm bendy (Flexi) straws for the SRB Water Piping:confused:
Branching off to 4mm straws for the Exhaust hole feeds.

I have finally completed my SRB pipework!!
I am quite happy how they have turned out.
Parts of them are not a perfect representation but it is the best I could achieve with my modelling skills:oops:

    SSME's Checkout Deck

    Hi to All:wave:
As my STS117 Build is to be the Rollout version,I need to design the SSME deck (see photo).
Stairwell and floors are complete, top rails are printed.
I have now got to design the deck bracing and SSME's scaffolding!!

Nice job on the SSME 'deck'.

Think about what would happen if they 'forgot' to remove it before launch.
