I recently (yes again) purchased more treasures from Ebay. A box of 140+ empty nscale train boxes. Shortly after the auction I got an email from someone looking for any Aurora Postage Stamp boxes. Are these collectors items or something? I finally received the order and there were 12 of these boxes. Now I am not sure what to do.

Any suggestions?

Garry, for some reason train collectors pay more for stuff in the original boxes. For this reason, there are some boxes that are more valuable than the car alone.
What were you going to do with them? Use Robin's plans and cut them up for buildings? :D

Their value lies in that folks can place unboxed cars in the appropiate maker's box, preferably one that is marked for the car/loco. Aurora Postage Stamp was the first real effort to breakout N scale as a serious contender against HO so it stands to reason that someone would want those boxes. Couldn't tell you what they were worth though. You can't really lose as any money defrays the cost of the lot you got.:thumb:
