I'm at the point of buying some switches. I have noticed that Atlas has a Super line and a Custom line. What is the difference? Is the Tortoise the best motor to use - or something else? (DCC one of these days!) Thanks, Pat
CustomLine is made like sectional track, has the ties at the ends gapped for a rail joiner.
SuperSwitch has full ties at the ends, to connect or trim as you need. I think they both have isolated metal frogs...
This is the first time I've heard of an Atlas SuperSwitch. Doies the SuperSwitch have the same sheet metal points as the SnapSwitch and Custom line, or did they finally correct them and use solid rail castings for the points?
