    Greetings. I'm selling some Atlas snap-switches on eBay, and someone asked me if they're brass or nickel-silver. Stupid me doesn't know how to tell the difference - they're fairly new, though.

    Brass vs. Nickle Silver...

    Brass rail is brass coloured, and NS rail is shiny silver coloured.

    Also, if you purchased them in the not so far past they are most likely NS

    Yep...

    Mike, brass has a coppery color to it. Sometimes, if it's oxidized, the color will be a dark copper color. Nickle silver is (usually) a shiny silver color.
