Back in the mid-60's, when N-scale was in it's infancy, Atlas blessed us with several sweet-running steamers.

The first one was a heavy 0-8-0 Swicher, then a graceful 4-6-2 light Pacific, and then a handsome 2-8-2 Mikado. We were very proud of our little gems and would show them off to anyone who would listen.

These little steamers featured traction tires to give extra pulling power and their performance amazed most HO guys.

Thought I might also show the B&O version of the Atlas 0-8-0 pictures that I just sent you.

This was a repaint done by Ted's Engine House in New Jersey.

Ray,

Here are three of the Atlas 0-8-0's. B&O Repaint, AT&SF and Indiana Harbor Belt.

Another little cutie is the Atlas 0-4-0 with tender.
