Hi Dorcas, I guess you are wanting to convert the Atlas turntable to N scale because you like the pre-set stops. That's gonna end up being one huge turntable in N scale.
Since the Atlas table is designed to be mounted on top of the table my thought would be to mount it under the table and use it to drive (thru the table) a smaller scratch built table or platform on the top of the table.
But....those preset stops are going to be way too wide for N scale I would think and I don't believe there is any way to change them.
If you like the idea of a surface mounted turntable like the Atlas it would be a simple matter to scratchbuild something similar in N scale driven by a 1 RPM motor mounted under the table.
Just some thoughts.
