    I came across a hum dinger of a coal mine to model-the Atlas Mine, a National Historic Site at East Coulee Alberta.

    I THINK I'M IN HEART WITH THIS MINE MYSELF, HOWEVER I DON'T BELIEVE I HAVE THE TALENT OR PATIENCE TO SCRATCH BUILD ONE, I HOPE YOU POST PICTURES OF YOURS WHEN IT IS DONE.

    Wish you success however I would like to use wood only. I think the fastest way will be when you build a basic construction from cardboard and than add sheetings from wood strips, clapp boards and scribbed boards.
    We all are interested seeing progress of this mine.

    Is that the one with the swing bridge over the river to get to the entrance?
