Does anyone know why Walthers has almost no Athearn products anymore?

Also, I read somewhere that Athearn was going to bring back the disscontinued 28' Double trailers w/dolly and some of the other trucks in HO Scale. Is this true??

Athearn was bought out some time back by Horizon Hobbies, a direct competitor to Walther's hence the tiff that has no Athearn products in their catalogue.

They also own roundhouse and are attemping to repair some round house products for me. I am not holding my breath.

O, Thanks for the info. cause I just bought a new Walthers referance book from a train show in Anahaim, CA and I was looking through it and didnt have Athearn.

Now to my second Question, Has anyone heard that Athearn was going to bring back all those HO Scale trailers and trucks? You know the USF Bestway/Reddaway, Consolidated Freightways, and the other ones like the 48' trailers w/the cabover cabs.

I know that they brought back the ROADWAY and Yellow Freight one's cause I just bought them at my local hobby shop, but what about all the other one's??
