Assembling white metal castings

MasonJar

It's not rocket surgery
What do you recommend for putting together a white metal kit?

I have heard about super glue "gel" - where do you find it? Most places only have the really runny stuff - consistency of water. Is soldering an option?

Thanks for your help!

Andrew, I get my gel super glue from a Home Depot store. They are usually .25 to .75 cents cheaper than the major dept. stores. If there are no Home Depot stores in your area check local hardware stores. Before gluing your parts make sure you have cleaned them well. Great stuff!

You might check out your arty-craftsy store - the one near me (Michael's) seems to have every kind of glue known to man!:D

I get my super glue (also known as CA) at my local hobby shop. It comes in thin, medium, and thick. Also, an accelerator and debonder is available for it.
