I've had this project partially planned for several years now, predating most of my releases over the last year. I had a few fitful starts, and had shelved the model until very recently. While this thread will eventually contain progress data on the Scout Trooper pack, for now here are progress shots of the Speeder bike model. I hope to get to texturing soon, although my muse is wayward at times. The bike will be released on its own, and is modeled to suit assembly at the 1:50 and 1:35 scales. At 1:50 the finished bike will be 8.8 cm long, or about 3.5 inches. I will likely release at least a few different fuselage color schemes.
I plan to texture before prototyping, as I am fairly confident the build will go smoothly. I am considering placing this up for a beta building once textured (and before instructions), as I find my time is scant of late. If anyone is interested, please feel free to note it.
