    What happened to rpracing? and everyone else? this site was awesome with everyone on it...we need more members.

    Ya, I agree. There use to be a lot more helpful people on this forum. I guess they all moved on to a different forum. This one is nice and small though, but it could use some more members...

    can i put a reciever battery on a reciever that has B.E.C. and has a port for it that had the wires coming from the MSC or will it burn out the reciever?

    yes you can but the B.E.C stands for battery eliminater cuircutry meaning you dont need the reciver battery.

    o sorry mis type. i ment to say i knew what B.E.C. was but didnt know if it used les power and didnt want to fry the reciever. that proves my bad typing skills

    hi my screws that hold the engine are stripped. what would be the best way to get them off?

    what kind of drill is it? u shouldnt need anything over a 7.2v battery powered drill to do that.

    ya man ur pretty helpfull.

    josh is the head stripped or is it the threads? if its the head try to use a pair of neadle noise to get it out but if its the threads try to drill in a little and use an e-z-out. maybe u need to recharge ur battery or see if u can borrow one from somebody.

    are you sure you dont mean the opposite, because wou;dnt it be easyier to pull out the screw if the threads were stripped? well anyways its the head and theres lockthread so it isnt that easy to 1.) get a good grip and 2.) pull them out so i guess ill charge it up and try again

    i used thread lock on my metal drive yokes and needed to get the yokes off again to replace the ideler gear and couldn`t.i will never use thread lock again.i managed to bend and squeze the new ideler gear into the tranny.

    you can use a reciver battery pack.

    the reciever doesnt have the BEC the speed controls have that.

    You sure?? I always thought that receivers had the BEC because they need receiver batteries. Just like in nitro cars, the receiver needs a receiver battery and there isn't a speed control in a nitro car, just a carburator.
