    Dear everyone:

Sooooooooooo glad that I found this website.
I want to say it out loud "thank you".
There's definitely lots of useful tutorial teaching using metasequoia.
    It did help a lot.

    I havn't tried metatoon yet.
Currently I'm useing metasequoia to build the model and the bone structure.

With the mqo file, another software named mikoto which accept bvh
to import, can make animation easily.
But the problem is that the cel render quality of mikoto is not perfect.

So I tried to find some other tools, then I found metatoon.
It seems to have great cel shading quality.
Can metatoon support bvh import and animate the model?
If no, I guess that I'll have try other software do the celshading for the animation.

    Thanks in advanced.

I haven't seen a plugin that will do this, mikoto seems to be the program of choice but it keeps crashing on me???

Have you tried marbleclay or blender.

marbleclay can import and export metasequoia files (it can also export to other formats but don't tell anyone because they'll just use it as a file converter :D) and it has a 'simple' bone system, i've only just dowloaded it so i can't say what it's real capabilities are yet. it's free, you need to register(free) it to unlock something???

I tried using blender to pose models, it's good at posing but it lost my textures during the import. (now wondering if i can use marble clay to convert the file format  )

you might try getting lightflow and metalight for rendering, not sure if it can 'toon' render.

    ...and welcome to the forum.
