Jon, you have made my boy's day. :thumb: :thumb: Are they all Hornby?

Mostly Hornby with a little Lima (Diesel), Mainline (Henry and a blue diesel whose name escapes me) and Airfix/Dapol (Oliver and Bill & Ben). There's also a lead kit for Toby. Heres some pics of them.

Happy New Year All,

I have been busy with wiring turnouts and planning both my downtown area and industry area. I've placed some buildings in both areas and have more to build or buy. Little by litte I am beginning to see where I am eventually headed. :thumb:

I have posted a couple of PIX of those areas.

Happy New Year!

Thought I would share a couple photos of the "Deere Valley & Western" before its demolition and complete rebuild. This is a freelanced layout utilizing John Deere, UP, ATSF & WP equipment. Very busy for a 4x8 but DCC makes it manageable.

The era is summer 1960, so JD 4020's have just hit the dealers. Also, UP still had some functional Big Boys & Challengers, so 4013 and 3985 make appearances along with numerous UP and ATSF F units.

Demolition of the 4x8 will begin in early 2005 and a 5x12 is anticipated.;)

Climax #1 heading past the sawmill towards the mine switchback. This picture was taken a year ago with the layout (two sections totaling 2'X8') laying on the ground.

This is what it expanded to a couple months ago. I've added a scenery divider since this pic.

The scenery divider is in and most of the trackwork is in as well. Since this picture was taken I built the harbour and a pier to the left. I have pictures but they have to be developed first and scanned
