Any body here around Miami?

if any of you live around Miami, perhaps you would help me with a bit of information.
I would guess that there would be a number of cigar makers around there.
I recently learned that the very thin cedar sheets that come with a GOOD cigar are for lighting them, so you don't "bruise" the tobacco with a match or lighter.
What i would like to get is the phone number of some of the cigar rollers to see if I can get them to either tell me where they get their cedar sheets or perhaps sell me a few dozen. Shingles , Ya Know!!
Thanks,Dave

Dave-

The wood they use for cigar wrappers is called Spanish Cedar.
It's supposed to be toxic if inhaled and connected to a variety of nasty respiratory ailments, so I'd use a respirator and some kind of dust collection if you're doing any sanding.

I wonder whether you could get what you're looking for as a veneer product through a woodworking supply house, for example:

Veneering - Woodcraft.com

I've thought about using these products for shingles before, but haven't ever gotten around to it. The Variety Packs are reasonable in price given the amount of material that you get.
