    Hi everyone!

So I saw this video on Google Video of these guys drifting their RC Cars and it was the coolest thing I'd ever seen!

I drive a BMW 328i (1/1th scale) and occaisionally go to autocross events and drift and its fun but when I saw those guys drifting their RC Cars I knew I had to have one!

So I'm a newb. Last RC Car I had was more than 15 years ago and it was fun but with no budget it quickly died off as I needed new parts and no way to pay for them. It never ocurred to me you could upgrade and drift an RC Car! So thats what I want to do and I would appreciate any advice you RC Drifting gurus might have to offer.

    1. I have a pretty LARGE budget.
    2. I'd like something VERY VERY upgradeable.
    3. Ultimately I would like to be able to drift it.
    4. I like larger scale RC Cars.
    5. I'm an engineer and very electronics and physics friendly.
    6. I like compact RWD coupes like BMW M3 or Skyline, 240sx etc.

Any and all suggestions are welcome!

BTW, anyone here live in the SF Bay Area?
