The downloads will be rotating, about three (3) per week from now through the end of the year. They will be released in the order they appeared in the series.

#3 is first and will be available for two more days.

Very entertaining. might be fun to actually asswmble them as part of my christmas display this year, so I hope the rotation will complete before december 25

Build An Angel, Win an Eva for Christmas!

As an Evangelion fan, I was stunned to see all this work being put out in to the public domain, it is truly moving! I recently had a chance to spend a few days with Mr. Sadamoto (yes he drew me and I got to keep the picture :mrgreen: ) and Mr. Yamaga who worked on the anime version, and they both expressed huge gratitude and thanks to the fan community.
Now, I am not blessed with the talent of creation, but I do have a spare Evangelion unit one chokipeta original, never removed from bag. Unit 01 Truth be told they aren’t that expensive, but shipping fees from Japan will put this kit at 40$ or 50$ for most locations
On Christmas morning I will randomly choose 1 lucky winner who posted a build picture of one of TheWebdude’s Angels in this thread, and send him or her a free original Unit One paper model!(as soon as I get a message with an address) How's that for Christmas spirit! So get building and let’s see these models come to life!

and one more But i'am not telling :) you'll have to look for it !!!!!

OK, sounds good to me. Sachiel is interesting, all that black and so many tabs, just like I was making six sets of wheels for an Elf Tyrrell T34. Only two so far, Photos tomorrow, gotta get an new lithium for the camera.

Wow great work, got 4 models now and can't wait for the rest. I'm wondering if maybe the UV coords slipped on the Ramiel drill? I found a picture to show you what I mean. But other than that, great work, very nice models! Lets hope we get some build pictures soon, would be a shame if I had to keep that nice Unit 1 all to my self now.

No, that's it. I took 'some' artistic license along the way, especially with some of the angels like Adam where the full body is never shown and Arael, who is only shown as a glowing figure in space.

I 'could' have made the drill spirals tighter on Ramiel but that would have meant a multiple section cylinder and I "did" want to keep a balance between simplicity and accuracy.

After all, they're designed to be built. :mrgreen:
