Alternate VIA loco paint schemes?

Does anyone remember if VIA rail was simply unveiled or were there several different variations and the worst (or most garish) one selected?,,

Most folks remember the RS-10 version applied to one unit or the grey and yellow F-unit mid 80's , but I'm referring to the genus of via.

I'd be interested if a link existed to anything that appeared remotely "railroady".

Thanks

When VIA started, it was a division of CN and took on CN's passenger stock. I seem to remember some early paint schemes where the separation between the blue and yellow was on a diagonal.
A few years later, CP was added to the mix. I think there were different shades of yellow used; possibly ancient CN and CP yellows that were still sitting around.
And maybe a couple of experimental colours. Nothing permanent until the LRCs.

Canada, eh?
Here are two variations as seen on an FPA-4, my favourite diesel locomotive.

I have a picture of an LRC somewhere, but I haven't come across it, yet.

Here are a couple more. Though it's difficult to see, both LRCs have a white VIA on the yellow stripe on the nose - it's below the "break" in the sheet metal.
