Hello!

i was using a badger propel can for my air testor's airbrush, and the aquickly prooved to be a bad idea sicne the air escaped out the sides. so i decided to use my sister's airbrush and regulator cap, but this to is leaking air.

the air is leaking out between this silver thing on the regulator cap, and the brass looking adapter piece. no amount of tightening is keeping the air in the air brush, and lots of air shoots out of the sides.

can anyone help me?

If there are any washers in those parts, tightening them as much as you can will actually damage/crush the washer. Try some new ones, and only tighten with a wrench 1/4 to 1/2 turn beyond hand tight. Jim's suggestion on teflon tape (like you use for metal to metal joints in plumbing) may also work.
