Posted some photos of my two latest builds to my gallery. They are both from Erik te Groen kits. One is a 1/72nd-scale Delta II 7925-9.5, No. 298, the launch vehicle for MER-A. The other one is Athena I, in 1/96th scale.

I added a bunch of scratchbuilt details to both.

I'd love to look at these, but I'm getting this message lately for your gallery:

"Your administrator has required a password to access this category. Please enter this password now."

    Any ideas?

You sir, are most surely a steely eyed missle man! Or maybe that's heavy paper - eyed missle man? ;)

At any rate, your work is an inspiration!

Can one be a "paper-eyed missile man" instead of a "steely-eyed missile man"? It just doesn't have the same ring to it.... (Just kidding.)

Thanks for the kind words. Yes, Erik's models are excellent -- well-designed, beautifully detailed and super-sensible construction.

As far as build time goes, I started cutting paper on the Delta II last Thursday, worked on it some Friday and Saturday, and did final assembly Sunday morning.

The Athena I was a product of insomnia Sunday night and Monday night. It's a pretty simple build.

    Again, thanks.
