Each wheel is powered thus;)

Will always be re-membered
Needless to say, I wish I could have joined you Chris but my Wednesdays are really tied up with volunteer work.
Thanks for posting these photos. Looks like this could be a great modelling project. Looking forward to more photos.

8654:(
This unit was new July last year and it cost a bomb.
It was in the siding next to that derailment in Bellville when the tanker exploded.
8654 was left to burn for 24Hours. Nothing they could do.:(

Look at the size of this baby.
We will meet Chris in the next shot .
Chris was telling us all about the fitment of these to the frieght.
It`s all to do with center balance and a pin with a lot of grease:eek:

:D Meet Chris.
He is standing on the equipent that retrucks the frieght:)
The Frieght is pushed onto this portion of rail. Pistons then come up and take the weight of the frieght and the truck is disengaged.
Then the whole rail it sits on is lowered and traversed to the right then raised up to track level the old truck is pushed of and a new one pushed on and taken down to be fitted.
Neat :D

This the nerve centre, they can find a needle in a hay stack now .
All equipment has a information chip on one side and is scaned on entering the yards and exiting.
They can punch in the Frieght # on the Computer,
and trace it anywhere in Canada:D ;) :p
