hello---many viewers have marvelled at doctor wayne's postings, fortunately for me,i have had the priveledge to see wayne's layout first hand---believe me,it's truely remarkable---any time he invites me over,i grab my camera and look forward to an adventure---it's like going back in time and reliving the golden era of railroading when steam ruled the rails---thanks to my good friend, here's a sampling of our latest get-together---hope you enjoy as much as i did

Always good to see when cn nutbar and Wayne get together for some modeling-excellant scenery, excellant modeling. The second pic down really gets the juices flowing. Once again, I have to comment on that silty water effect you have created. It is perfectly done. Do they have catfish up there in your neck of the woods??? Seriously though, great pictures and modeling.

Hey!
So that was you on the other side of the tracks taking pics of that steamer crossing the road?? I was the driver in the truck. I always stop to watch the trains go by, even though most times I can get across before they get to the crossing.. Love them trains...

Canada, eh?
As one of the co-owners of Hoffentoth Bros. Coal and Ice, I must commend you on your observance of railway crossing safety rules. However, that load of ice that you're carrying for home delivery is shrinking with every car of the train that passes. Neither rain, nor sun, nor passing trains shall stay the iceman from cometh-ing. :D And as soon as that train has passed, you'd better announce1 GET BACK TO WORK!! :D :D

Wayne

By the way, on behalf of both Mister Nutbar and myself, thanks for all the nice comments on both the photography and the modelling.

Don't worry Gus, your job is probably pretty secure, what with all the housewives along your delivery route constantly calling in to praise your fine "service", and requesting "more ice, please".:thumb: :thumb: Hoffentoth Bros. aim to please, especially if it keeps the refrigerator salesmen away.:D

Outstanding layout and photography! I'm sure the lighting to make such crisp photos was hard to do...but what a result. Those photo's do justice to what must be a amazingly detailed layout.

thanks to all for all your feedback and a special thanks to doctor wayne for allowing me to shoot these pictures on his layout---it's not the photography that stands out,it's the scenes that wayne has created---all i provided was a camera and some of my locomotives
