A Tour of CSX Big Four Avon Yard

For all of the New York Central Big Four, Penn Central, Conrail and CSX fans out there, I was given permission to tour the (now) CSX Big Four Avon Yard outside of Indianapolis. I took 70 photos, most of which I used in creating the story of the tour on my Railroads of Madison County web site at http://madisonrails.railfan.net/

I've got a couple friends that work out of that yard and I've been promised a yard tour sometime, too. Looks like you beat me to it, however!

They tell ne that it was much easier with Conrail than with CSX. I believe it.
