    Great idea

I like this idea for a unique load. personally i have some case steam traction engines as loads on my layout.

Not to be a party pooper but could that rail car hold that engine? Wouldnt you need a heavy load car for that? :)

I don't mean to change the subject but what is the difference between a "rail car" and a "heavy load car"? Seems like there is always something to learn about trains.

I think a heavy load car has more trucks to spread out the weight more on the rails

A quick search found this Wikipedia site with a photo 0f a steamer on a flat car
(how about that!?) :) ...and a little farther down a heavy load flat car.
