a sad day in railroad history, yet another steam engine falls prey to the new wave of engines,chattanooga engine #638 is headed to the local scrap yard. :cry: :eek:


*steam fans please do not kill me. this loco was already scrap when i got it.

well, a friend gave it to me (it was already junk) and said do what you want with it so i covered the parts that were chipped or missing,so i covered that with tarp (ciggerette wrapping)

Great idea

I like this idea for a unique load. personally i have some case steam traction engines as loads on my layout.

Not to be a party pooper but could that rail car hold that engine? Wouldnt you need a heavy load car for that? :)

I don't mean to change the subject but what is the difference between a "rail car" and a "heavy load car"? Seems like there is always something to learn about trains.
