A really bad paint job...

A really bad paint job that I just have to have! Look at the old multi-mark showing through the last radiator! I think I could make that effect by just painting over a Kato CP SD40-2, they already have the big multi mark, I'll just paint over it lightly.

Mike: an interesting unit. Originally owned by Ontario Hydro. assigned to CP from 1978 (new) then to CN from 1996. Sold to CP in 2000.

Mike, I shot that unit as CN 5390 trainling CN 5215 on train #275 at Oshawa, Ontario December 1, 1999. I can tell you that the multimark is also present on the grille on the engineer's side of the hood. There was also some badly peeling paint on the engineer's side at that time.

Boy that really is an outdated bad paint job! I bet it will look better when I see it on your layout.
