I'm at that point too. It's amazing how much crap I had stored under my desk. Rubbish that I'd printed onto card instead of paper.

Nice build though I may try to work up a quick base for a 4 gun emplacement if you like using the Galactica mesh? Unless you're doing something like that anyway?

Ok, I'll try something. I'll email you later with a few ideas and to get more info for scaling.

I thought of the spine of the Big G where the Energiser is(that low dome thing with the Colonial symbol on it). Aren't there four guns mounted there?

Anyway, I'll catch ya later with it.

Looks great nothing! Yeah I know what you mean. These are close but I'm sure there are differences. I think that dome is off center in the series. I could be wrong though.

If you guys are going to do the entire "panel", (please please) I don't see any reason to "waste" the current work. Just modify the ends of the barrels and offer them in the D/L's-parts bin as "generic" SF turrets.

Good idea. Remember Nothing, it's a papermodel. We often rely on good textures rather than 3d detail.

That turret of yours looks good to me. Though I like the idea of doing an area of the ship. I had an idea lastnight. You could use it as a sort of display base for Vipers and Raiders??? All to scale. ;)

So much for keeping this one simple eh?

    Nothing,

I LOVE the cannons! I build Wargames Terrain (which got me into paper models) and I've been hunting for something like this for YEARS!. Those are awesome!

You could build a LandRam, New Series Style. I haven't seen one yet (but I've missed a lot of it for example, I have no clue what BSG: Razor is), but I think there's enough examples of the style out there you could do one.

Of course, building entirely from scratch may be a bit more problematic than working from existing art. . . .
