Looks like your camera is giving you the same trouble mine was... it wants to focus on the background when you take a close up shot. I think I have a solution:

I set my model on top of a tall object (in my case it was a huge bucket of Nestle Quik) and pointed the camera at it so that there was nothing in the background (or it was really far away). This makes it a little easier for the auto-focus to get what you want it to and not get distracted by other objects nearby. Hope this helps you!

no i cut it out of strene and then saw tooth the edge with a knife
i didn't even think about using a dremel cutoff good idea thanks
