I agree with everyone else, a toilet. I got a little "heads up" though. Mythbusters on the Discovery Channel the other night was working with an airline toilet.

as it seems, the Gauge is really a bunch of specialists for railroad technology! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Yes indeed, these are the technical innards of a vacuum toilet of our hi-speed trains. On the pic below you see the complete toilet on a test stand in the passengar car repair shops here in Olten. (Olten is one of the most important RR hubs of Switzerland, and I live less than a mile from the shops. )

Last weekend the shops had open house and of course I made the tour. I'll post a few pics in the 'Real thing - International' section.
