I just got a temp position at the local Rubbermaid plant, and I like it so far. It's pretty rewarding to see myself catch on to something like trimming blow-molded parts so quickly.

The only downside: I tried to do a card model to relax myself on the first off-day . . .

And I barely managed to cut out and glue six parts before I had to put it away out of boredom!

    Six . . . friggin' . . . parts.

    Maybe I should take up origami . . .

Consider yourself lucky to be working...going on 18 months of no job here.....but stick with it...you're too good at modeling to get bored!!

Oh believe me, I thanked the Good Lord in heaven that I landed *anything*. They had precisely one job open, and I jumped on it.

Little did I know it'd kill my interest in card modeling (12 hours of handling a knife tends to do that), but hey, I'm getting a paycheck so it's all good. :thumb:
