a good program that works with obj files....

    hey, i was thinking of messing with some obj files and was wondering if anyone out there might know the best and maybe easiest program to use. yes i am going to convert those files to pdo. i am not sure where to go and if anyone could direct me in the right direction, that would be great. thanks..:thumb: :wave:

    Metasequoia can handle those files, as can Wings3d. Both are free and (relatively) easy to use.

    I'm pretty sure blender works with obj files. Though I am not too familiar with it since I use 3dsmax.

    3DS Max also works with those files. There's Milkshape too.

    I'd recommend Wings 3D for its intuitive UI.

    Still currently free for a short time - Hexagon 2.5 from Daz3D, which handles obj files just fine although it takes a little bit of thought to get used to the UI.
