Thought I'd show how a "possible history" caused my N scale E.V. Maupin Mfg. to grow from a late 19th century factory into the EVM Corp.
The first picture is of the original factory, which was first built to manufacture sewing machines...In the 1940's, the factory was retooled to produce machine parts for the military...

In the post-war years, E.V. Maupin went into the booming plastics, & chemical business, & major expansion was in the works...

Buying up even more of the adjacent urban real estate, the EVM Corp. added tank-loading, storage, & more refining, & fabrication facilities...
