    I suppose I should post my picture too. This is the most recent picture from my Tehachapi trip a few weeks ago.
    Hopefully it won't crash The Gauge :)

    One question, what happened to the centre tracks, were they removed for some reason.?

    I don't think the has ever been a third track, I think it's a service road, I think, but I don't know for sure.

    Shamus, I believe you maybe looking at a bit of an optical illusion...it is just the contour of the ballast with the angle of the sun (sounds like I know what I am talking about huh? :rolleyes: ) There have only been two tracks through Bealville, one is the siding the other, on your right is the mainline.

    btw..here is my mug...taking copious notes trackside at Tehachapi summit..a few years back...
