    Hello all,

I just finished a Fiddler's Green build of the F-86 and Mig-15. I'm usually a WW1 and WW2 fan but there's just something about the early jets and these 2 are a couple of my favorites from the early jet era.

    Hi, Getter!:)

Real nice work on the pair!

If you don't mind, I figured it would be nice to have the photos posted rather than as a zip download...might be easier for everyone to see the super job you did on both.

    Cheers!
    Jim

    Hi Jim,

Glad you like em. I plan on building them agian only much smaller :D

Oh thanks for changing my pics. I left em in a zip to keep from reducing the photos and messing up their resolution. I didn't think about converting them into jpg files :p

By the way, that was a super job on your D-VII. If my FG Seimens Shuckert comes out half as good as you D-VII I'll be happy.

    Hi, all!:)

You're more than welcome, John...I actually tried to attach it as a photo, not a link to the site, but it didn't work out as planed. Thanks for the very kind words about my DVII...I'm sure your Seimens will look great...don't forget to post a few pics when you can.

@ yaniv...the F-86, of course:grin: ...what you don't see is the F-86 pilot putting on the air brakes and slipping behind the Mig seconds later....

    Cheers!

Jim is right about the victor in this match. If I'm not mistaken, the F-86 is depicted in the colors of one Major "Boots" Blesse who was the top American jet fighter ace of the Korean conflict. He later wrote the classic fighter pilot manual "No Guts, No Glory".

Well I got the first of the "minis" done. At this size I found that construction paper works best. Now to build the Mig :D

    Jim,

Minis sure are addictive. I have a side by side build of the Seimens Shuckert both large and mini but that'll be another thread when I get more of them done.
