I had my family over today for a couple of birthdays (my nephew had his last week) and early Christmas. My wife picked up a few things at a train show in Dearborn while I thought she was in the coffee shop. I now have a really neat video containing Tocatta for Toy Trains. If you haven't seen it, it is a 1950s celebration of old toy trains that is beautifully photograhed.
I've been trying out my tuned up City of London that my wife bought. It's pulling a string of 14 passenger cars around the layout with no problems (usually!) That makes a train that nearly fills one wall of the room.
