2006 Presidents Choice offer

I was scanning Ebay and the new presidents choice trainset was being offered for $45.00usd. I was both happy and suspicious at the same time. The seller said some friend collects toys and had asked him to help sell them. This is way bellow the $99.00cdn they are being sold for. How did he get them so cheap, am a little suspicious, he has around 15 of them.
By all accounts this years model is selling very well.

Any thoughts?

id say its a scam, or there stolen, everything i see sell here, sells for about 1/2 in canada,,,,125cc motorcross bike sells for over 5000 USD, but the samething sells for 2500 or 3000 USD in canada, i know people that go "up north" to get there bikes every year.
