Hey guys, here are some first shots of 2 of my new CNW C44-9W's that I got today.

They are Athearn BB kits so they still have to be put together but here is some pictures of them on the counter. One is Powered (bottom #8606) and was $24.88 and one is a dummy (top #8627) and was $15.00. Now to go put em together, post some more pics later with them in action.

Still have another Powered and Dummy CNW C44-9W on the way too.

Josh, that sounds like a very good deal. Even though I am a fan of first generation diesels, I really like your new engines. They will look great on front of a loooonng freight train.

Thanks guys, so far, these aren't to bad as far as assembling goes, hope it is like that the whole way. Im sure I will be quite familiar with the parts and howthey fit together after I am done with all 5 locos.

WOW Shaygetz, that was an AWSOME mixed train. My favorites were the begining flats with all the construction machinery and the end with all the trailer flats.

Great Train:thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Bare with me guys, it took a little longer than I expected, ok an hour and a half longer and I only built one of them so far. The next one should go faster cause now I know how they go together. I still have to paint the handrails CNW green too.

Stay tuned for a UP/CNW double stack container car train!!

Ok, here they are.

Starts off with a CNW Dash 9 followed by a UP AC4400 and a 9 unit double stck train. Enjoy. Now to go build that powered CNW Dash 9. Will post another train when I get powered one done.

Looks good!!! :thumb: Running that close to the edge would make me nervous!!! sign1

Thanks, it makes me nervous to sometimes and I never leave the train on the outside track unless I am taking pictures of the train. I had to maximize the avialable space and the outside track serves as a photography track:D :D

My little sister is also not aloud in my room because of some obvious reasons, one of which is that little kids are curious. My little sister and a $350.00 train on the edge of the table just don't mixsign1
