Hi, Mikebalcos ! The name, "team track" comes from the "team" of horses and wagon originally used to access cars spotted on this track to load or unload less-than-carload shipments. Structures nearby could include a ramp/platform for floor level access to flat & boxcars, and (where no station is nearby) perhaps a small office/shed for an agent and short term freight storage. The type of business here is generally low volume (per customer), so little dedicated structure is needed. It's a neat "industry" that generates diverse shipments of all kinds of cars in a minimal space, giving your RR lots of "bang for the buck"! Happy Modeling ! Bob C.
