1/700 Skipjack

    So, here it finally is, a couple of weeks behind schedule, but done. I must say, this is my first water borne subject, and it was enjoyable. But, I still long for the sky. And I would do another, if the right subject were to come along.
    My only complaint is with the nose of the submarine. Even in the pictures of the beta, it appears to snubby to me. However, I did not vary from the instructions and built it as designed. Except, of course for the scale.

    Came out about 4.25 inches long.

    Wow, what a surprise for me! Thank you Texman for gluing the model in so small scale. Your model is beautiful!
    Probably the next model of submarine will be USS "Casimir Pulaski" (SSBN 633) (Lafayette class):
