I know I know I keep delaying the X-Wing (although I have gotten a bit more done on it) but this is going to be a long term project that i will be coming back to periodically. I kind of chose 1:5000 arbitrarily as a scale to balance the smallest ships to be buildable (corellian corvette came in at just over 1 1/4 inches) and the biggest to concievably fit in one of the larger rooms in my house (super star destroyer, just under 12 1/2 feet). Here are the first two, A corellian corvette and immobilizer 418 (interdictor) cruiser.
Of course all of Millenniumfalsehood's models will make their way into this collection sooner or later as well, I particularly look forward to the Strike class cruiser. I built the one based on the original XWA model but im not happy with it, the XWAUpgrade models are so much better.

That is really impressive. Without reference, I would have guessed they were at least twice the size.

Next up is a Lancer Frigate, this is one of the original XWA models and so it is a bit lacking in detail but I'm happy enough with it at this size.

    These ships look FANTASTIC!!!
I have always been impressed with your micro-machine collection.
It always AMAZES me how you are able to build these models so small and still have to come out looking as good as they do.

Next is a corellian gunship and also a couple WIP's. The first is a dreadnought class cruiser. The second is the proof you have all been looking for that I have gone totally, irrecoverably insane. The Millennium Falcon, IN ONE/FIVE THOUSAND:eek: I am expecting the men in white coats to come knocking at my door any time now.

When they came I hid under my bed until they went away, and then.......I FINISHED THE FALCON! It will have a proud place of honor when I build my star destroyer ;)

Usually models this small have fuzzy edges, and look good, but not great, like yours. These models are exceptional. You could make quite a display with your ability to model in any scale that you wish. Fantastic! :)

I'm just sitting here, in awe, at the fact that your Falcon not only has the sensor rectenna, but the docking rings and even the frigging exhaust vents on the engine deck as 3D features!!

Dude, you're a true master of the world of the tiny. I can't wait to see what you do with my Strike-class cruiser (hint, hint ;) ).

    I'm totally flabbergasted.
I would struggle making anything at least five times that size!
